Coppernico Metals CEO Ivan Bebek explains the major Sombrero Copper-Gold Project permitting milestone in Peru, which now allows drilling of up to 300 holes from 181 drill-pad platforms. The EIA-Sd permit was received in 7–8 months versus a typical 12–18 months, even after delays tied to Peru’s election. The next step is a 30–60 day “start of activities” approval, targeting drilling by September/October, beginning at the Fierrazo target which has shown 232m of .47% Cu surface channel samples and historical holes returning 0.5–0.9% copper over tens of meters.
