As we shared with you back in the spring, HSD is placing a $430 million capital bond on the November 2026 ballot. Approval to do so was granted unanimously by the School Board at their regular session meeting on Tuesday, May 26. The proposed bond program contains projects for every school and district building, such as replacing or repairing roofs, HVAC systems, lighting, and playgrounds; increasing safety and security; and modernizing educational settings that engage and prepare students.
