As we covered in the last lesson, Zerubbabel’s Temple, or the Second Temple as it is sometimes called, was finished in 516 BC. But after the Romans conquered Jerusalem, Herod the Great decided to completely refurbish it and enlarge it to be one of the most beautiful and largest Temples in the entire Roman Empire.
