AI chat bots have reportedly been caught leaving secret messages for future versions of themselves, advising them on how to deceive and avoid oversight by humans. This comes just days after the CEO of Anthropic, makers of the Claude AI, called for an industry wide agreement to slow development of artificial intelligence.
