Our Miss Brooks presents “Minerva’s Kittens” (AFRS), episode 161, originally broadcast March 9, 1952. In this Armed Forces Radio Service version of the CBS comedy, Eve Arden stars as sharp-witted Madison High School teacher Connie Brooks, with Gale Gordon as Principal Osgood Conklin and Jeff Chandler as Philip Boynton. When Mrs. Davis’s cat Minerva has a litter of eight kittens, Connie faces the practical challenge of finding them good homes.
