"Take this bread, drink this juice; do this in remembrance of Me" was Jesus' grace-filled invitation to take part in all that He offers, up to and including His life, which was sacrificed on their behalf—and ours—just hours later. When we participate in the Ordinance of Communion, we do so as unfinished works in progress, asking for the once-for-all sacrifice of Jesus to cover us, complete us...
