This homily explores the nature of prayer and why God sometimes withholds or alters what humans request. It emphasizes the need for persistence and humility, suggesting that people often pray selfishly or seek things that ultimately harm them rather than benefit them. Furthermore, I explain that divine responses are shaped by trust and personal conversion, noting that God ultimately provides what is truly needed, particularly the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Believers are encouraged to seek divine wisdom continually and remain open to unexpected blessings that surpass their initial desires.
