The Michigan Senate debate was the nastiest of the night. El-Sayed and Rogers traded insults, and El-Sayed was repeatedly asked whether Iran or Israel is the bigger threat and called it a “ridiculous question.” Another ICE shooting, this time in the Bronx. DHS says the man is in the country illegally with a long rap sheet and alleged gang ties. Mamdani is demanding his release, and the shooting is under investigation.
