SERMON - The Rock Revealed: Jacob, Jesus, and the Shocking Messiah

Podcast: ALIEN RIGHTEOUSNESS SERMONS & DISCUSSIONS · FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH

Opublikowano: 2026-10-16

This sermon ties Genesis 28 and Matthew 9 together to show how the Messiah continually surprises expectations: Jacob’s anointed rock becomes God’s temple, and Jesus reveals himself as the Rock who forgives sins, raises the fallen, and restores peace. The preacher invites listeners to rest in Christ’s completed work, receive his righteousness, live as the temple of God, and be ready for the shocking mercy that brings resurrection, reconciliation, and eternal rest.
