In Exodus 17:8–13, during the battle against the Amalekites, Moses stood on a hill with the staff of God, raising his hands so long as Israel prevailed. When Moses’ arms grew weary, Aaron and Hur each held up one of his hands, keeping them steady until sunset, enabling Joshua to defeat the Amalekites. This act symbolized both physical support and spiritual intercession. All leaders need an Aaron and Hur in their camp.
