Elwood P. Dowd (played by Jimmy Stewart) is an eccentric man who loves his family, loves his friends, and loves introducing everyone to a 6 foot 3-and-a-half inch tall invisible rabbit named Harvey. Terrified of becoming the laughing stock of their entire social circle, his older sister then tries to have him committed to a sanatorium. That's the premise of the comedy film we're reviewing this week from the 50s. It's ridiculous, hilarious, and has a lot of heart.
