Wisconsin’s 50th Assembly District is currently represented by Democrat Jenna Jacobson who, after weathering an election under new legislative maps in 2024, has set her sights this fall on the state Senate. Two candidates, Republican Jon Aleckson and Democrat Bill Oemichen, are vying for her seat in south-central Wisconsin. Oemichen touted his long record of public service and cooperative leadership in an interview with our News Producer Faye Parks.
