The old rule says tattoos and gowns don't mix. Cover the arms, wear the gloves, save the ink for the weekend. That rule was written by people who think a dress is a disguise. Evening wear has always been about the line. The open back, the off-the-shoulder neckline, the side slit that opens when you walk and closes when you stop. All of it was designed to be seen.
