Philadelphia’s Academy of Natural Sciences museum recently announced that after nearly 200 years of continuous operation, it was going to close its doors forever. Or rather, Drexel University, who assumed management responsibilities for the museum back in 2011, announced it would be closing the museum because, well, it just seems like nobody wants to go there anymore.
