Are Steelers only 'good' because of 'easy' schedule?

Colin Cowherd thinks the Steelers are only 4-2 because the schedule makers made it that way. Is he right? Do the schedule makers purposefully make it easier for certain teams? 2 of the final unbeaten teams have played very weak schedules to this point, but all we hear is how they are bound for the Super Bowl. Is this a case of a host suggesting the Steelers would be bad and since they aren’t, he is looking for every reason to say they aren’t good? ESPN is still projecting the Steelers to finish 9-8.
